We get excited when teachers are empowered through the use of technology to expand their students’ horizons.  Technology allows us to take teachers and students all around the world to collect data, read stories, research culture and communicate with experts and passionate learners.

The key to achieving this is twofold:

(1) Developing sufficient digital fluency that the technology does not get in the way of good pedagogy.

(2) Having a full toolkit of strategies for appropriate and seamless integration of technology into lessons on a regular basis.

We believe technology is a powerful tool to extend and enhance learning, but only if used effectively.  Our digital literacy professional development program emphasizes application and practice.
